Conductive silver pastes
Ferro conductive silver pastes offer high resistivity, high abrasion, UV and corrosion resistance with options of various drying rate and handling strength mediums. Since Ferro debuted its conductive silver paste on the VW Golf in 2003 many automakers have introduced fine-line heat grids on their own models, including the Porsche 911. Other European automakers were quick to follow suit, such as Skoda and Audi. The market continues to grow for Ferro’s lead-free silver paste.
Black obscuration pastes
Lead free, cadmium free black obscuration band systems are used for tempered glass sidelights or backlights for most manufacturers of domestic and commercial vehicles and laminated glass front and rear windscreens and sidelights.
Ferro’s new generation anti-stick high durability automotive black enamels with superior bus-bar hiding, are the latest in a series of new automotive enamels introduced. Application has been accepted on selected models by Mercedes Benz, BMW, VW, Daimler, Chrysler and Citroen.
